Hello! I'm Liz. How are you today? Why, I'm just spiffy! Thank you for asking!
My username used to refer to Beelzebub (Satan, Lucifer, the devil, the one who is known only as I am, etc.) who's infamous number you may know of as 666. I started this journal a few years ago when Beelzy was my sister's pet name for me. Since then, it has ceased to suit me. So, when you read this journal, don't think that it means I am a sex-aholic or a badass or anything of the sort. It is just a pet name. From now on, Beelzy is a cute way of saying, "Be Lizzy." Be yourselves, guys. I'll be me, Lizzy. See, isn't that a nice, heartwarming message?
Okay, well, enjoy!
And now, some quality quotage!!!

Boondock Saints
"We must always fear the wicked. But there is another kind of evil that we must fear the most, and that is the indifference of good men."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark
"But that the dread of something after death,--
The undiscover'd country, from whose bourn
No traveller returns,--puzzles the will,
And makes us rather bear those ills we have
Than fly to others that we know not of?
Thus conscience does make cowards of us all..."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock-- T. S. Elliot
"And would it have been worth it, after all,
After the cups, the marmalade, the tea,
Among the porcelain, among some talk of you and me,
Would it have been worth while,
To have bitten off the matter with a smile,
To have squeezed the universe into a ball
To roll it toward some overwhelming question,
To say: `` I am Lazarus, come from the dead,
Come back to tell you all, I shall tell you all''--
If one, settling a pillow by her head,
Should say: 'That is not what I meant at all.
That is not it, at all.'"
"I have seen the moment of my greatness flicker,
And I have seen the eternal Footman hold my coat, and snicker,
And in short, I was afraid."
"I have measured out my life with coffee spoons."
"I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each.
I do not think that they will sing to me.
I have seen them riding seaward on the waves
Combing the white hair of the waves blown back
When the wind blows the water white and black.
We have lingered in the chambers of the sea
By sea-girls wreathed with seaweed red and brown
Till human voices wake us, and we drown."

Mad World-- Gary Jules
All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places
Worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Going no where
Going no where
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression
No expression
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
No tomorrow
No tomorrow
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles its a very very
Mad world
Mad world
Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy birthday
Happy birthday
And I feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen
Sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me
No one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what’s my lesson
Look right through me
Look right through me
And I find I kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles its a very very
Mad world
Mad world
Enlarging your world
Mad world

The Princess Bride
"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
"Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line!"
and the ever-beloved, "Death cannot stop true love. It can only delay it for a little while."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meatloaf
"We were glowing like the metal on the edge of the knife.
Glowing like the metal on the edge of the knife."
"You were lickin' your lips and your lipstick was shinin'; I was dyin' just to ask for a taste. We were lyin' together in a silver linin' by the light of the moon. You know there's not another moment, not another moment, not another moment to waste!"
"I know you're lookin' for a ruby in a mountain of rocks, but there aint no coup de ville hidin' at the bottom of a cracker jack box."
B-On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
G-Will he offer me his teeth?
B-Yes.
G-Will he offer me his jaws?
B-Yes.
G-Will he offer me his hunger?
B-Yes.
G-Again, will he offer me his hunger?
B-Yes.
G-And will he starve without me?
B-Yes.
G-And does he love me?
B-Yes.
G-Yes.
B-On a hot summer night, would you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?
G-Yes.
B-I bet you say that to all the boys.
"I'm gonna hit the highway like a battering ram
On a silver-black phantom bike.
When the metal is hot, and the engine is hungry
And we're all about to see the light.
Nothing ever grows in this rotting old hole,
And everything is stunted and lost.
And nothing really rocks, and nothing really rolls,
And nothing's ever worth the cost."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Nightmare Before Christmas
"Jack, Please! I'm only an elected official, here! I can't make decisions by myself!"
"I'm a master of fright and a demon of light and I'll scare you right out of your pants. To a guy in Kentucky I'm Mister Unlucky and I'm known throughout England and France. And since I am dead I can take off my head to recite Shakespearean quotations. No animal nor man can scream like I can, with the fury of my recitations."
"He's ancient. He's ugly. I don't know which is worse. I might just split a seam now, if I don't die laughing first!"
"I sense there's something in the wind that feels like tragedy's at hand."
"What have I done? What have I done? Find a deep cave to hind in. In a million years they'll find me. Only dust, and a plaque that reads 'Here Lies Poor Old Jack'!"
"Won't they be impressed? I am a genius! See how I transform this old rat into a most delightful hat!"
"I'd like to join you by your side where we can gaze into the stars and sit together, now and forever. For it is plain as anyone can see, we're simply meant to be."

Moulin Rouge
There was a boy
A very strange enchanted boy
They say he wandered very far, very far
Over land and sea
A little shy and sad of eye
But very wise was he
And then one day
A magic day he passed my way
And while we spoke of many things
Fools and kings
This he said to me:
"The greatest thing you'll ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return"
"Christian, you may see me only as a drunken, vice-ridden gnome whose friends are just pimps and girls from the brothels, but I know about art and love, if only because I long for it with every fiber of my being."
"Things aren't always as they seem."
"We're creatures of the underworld. We can't afford to love."
"Love? Above all things I believe in love! Love is like oxygen. Love is a many-splendored thing; Love lifts us up where we belong; All you need is love!"
"What does he go for? Wilting flower? Bright and bubbly? Or smoldering temptress?"
"This woman is yours now. I've paid my whore!--Thank you for curing me of my rediculous obsession with love."
"Days turned in to weeks, weeks turned into months. And then on one not so very special day, I went to my typewriter and sat down and I wrote our story. A story about a time, a story about a place, a story about the people, but, most of all, a story about love, a love that will live forever. The end."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Great Gatsby-- F. Scott Fitzgerald
"And so, we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly to the past."
